This NNPC scholarship is only available for first year and second year student in any field of study in a Nigerian university both Federal and state universities excluding private university. The NNPC scholarship award in collaboration with Total Energies is in monetary form which is amounted to One hundred and fifty thousand naira (N150,000) per student, per academic session.

- Applicant must be a full time undergraduate in any university in Nigeria either Federal or state university.
- Applicant must be a first year or second year student at the time of application.
- Applicant must have a minimum UTME score of 200 as a first year student or minimum of 2.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average(CGPA) as a second year students.
The NNPC Scholarship in collaboration with Oando Energies
This scholarship is awarded to only first year students (most especially a full-time students) in any university across Nigeria. This scholarship is comprises of two types and its include;
- Host or transit scholarship.
- The national merit scholarship.
The students who are fortunate to benefit from this NNPC scholarship are paid two hundred thousand naira annually into their bank account.
Criteria for this NNPC Scholarship
Below are the basic requirements for NNPC Scholarship in collaboration with Oando Energies;
- Applicant must be a full time undergraduate student in any tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Applicants must be in their first year of study at the time of application
- Applicants aspiring for the the National merit award should be in these field of studying such as Engineering, Geosciences, Geology, Agricultural Science and their related courses which be pure or industrial chemistry.
- Indigene status should be provided by applicants aspiring for Host/transit communities merit award.
NNPC/Seplat JV National University Scholarship
In collaboration with Seplat JV National Scholarship this NNPC scholarship is granted to student studying this specific courses such Accountancy, Agriculture, Engineering and Architecture. The sum of Two hundred thousand is paid to the benefitted student per annum.
Criteria for this NNPC/Seplat JV National University Scholarship
Below are the requirement for NNPC/Seplat JV National University Scholarship;
- Applicants must be in their second year of studies or higher.
- Applicant should have at least 5 O’ level credit passes including Mathematics and English.
- Applicants must have not less than 3.5 CGPA on 5.0 scale.
- Applicant studying the following courses are also eligible to apply such Accountancy, Agriculture, Architecture, Business administration, Economic, Mass communication, Medicine and surgery are very much eligible.
NNPC/Chevron JV National University Scholarship
In collaboration with Chevron group of companies, it is unique in the sense that it is readily available for blind or vision impaired students and undergraduates in their second year (a full-time student) across any universities in Nigeria.
Criteria for this NNPC/Chevron JV National University Scholarship
Below are the requirement for NNPC/Chevron JV National University Scholarship;
Non blind or visually impaired applicants:
- A 3.5 CGPA and above is required on a 5.0 scaleĀ and at least six (6) O’Level credit pass in a sitting.
For blind or visually impaired applicants:
- 2.5 CGPA and above is required on a 5.0 scale.
- At least five O’Level credit pass in a sitting.
NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship
It’s a collaboration with Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) that is extended to student in their second year of study (a full-time student) across universities in Nigeria. It is provided yearly and it continues till the completion of the undergraduate degree of the benefitted student.
Criteria for this NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship
Below are the basic requirement for NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship;
- Every applicants must be a citizen of Nigeria.
- Applicants must be in their second year of study in a university accredited by the National Universities Commission.
- Every applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Applicants who are already benefiting from scholarship by other oil and gas company are not qualified.
- Female applicants are highly recommended.
